Bridal Portraits – Karla

blog-thumbnailI’m SOOOO excited to finally be able to share these gorgeous photos! Just a few days before Christmas, I met Karla down at the Stoneleigh Hotel in uptown. Since she was getting married there in the spring, they let her shoot her bridal portraits there. The location is amazing, and we got some really incredible shots. Karla’s a blast to shoot too, so we were cracking up the entire time. Stay tuned, I’ll have photos from her wedding posted within the next few days!

Wedding Photos – The Lasleys

blog-thumbnailThe Lasleys didn’t want a huge wedding, so they had a private ceremony and then had friends and family over to the house for a small reception. Steve knew about me because he’s the step-dad of one of the gals I’d shot recently, so he hired me to come shoot the party. It was a fun little party, and everyone got a huge kick out of the fact that the color of the wedding cake matched the bride and groom’s shirts.

Wedding Photos – The Moores

blog-thumbnailAfter taking baby photos and engagement photos, I was the go-to guy for wedding photos for the Moore family. Daddy was going into the Army, so they moved up their planned wedding date in order to get married before he left for basic training. They had a cute little wedding at a country club in Southlake, Texas. I absolutely love this family – we’re really going to miss them when they move away!

Wedding Photos – The Cherrys

blog-thumbnailI’ve know this couple for years, so it was an honor to shoot their wedding. Originally planned as an outdoor wedding, they changed just a few weeks before to Hotel Nylo in Plano due to cold weather. If you’ve never been there, it’s an awesome little boutique hotel near the Shops at Legacy, and it was a really cool spot for a wedding. They had lips, moustaches, and hats on sticks to use for photo props, and everyone had an absolute blast playing with them all night.

Wedding Photos – The Poyos

blog-thumbnailTalk about a fun wedding… This was one for the books. We got to hit three classic Dallas locations with this wedding, so the pictures have a ton of variety and a really cool vibe. The bride got ready at the Mansion, so we took her bridal shots there. The wedding ceremony was held at the bride’s father’s house, overlooking White Rock Lake at sunset. They even had their two dogs in the wedding! We ended the night with a blow out reception at Kirby’s on Lower Greenville. Love this couple, they’ve been friends of ours for years, and the wedding was an absolute blast to shoot.
